I have been hard at work lately up to the wee hours finishing up JetSet. It has been actually a great experience all in all. The iPhone SDK is really well done and Apple has provided many examples. What I am looking forward to is a stability update to the firmware that will help isolate problems with 3rd party applications versus the iPhone operating system. Right now it is very difficult to determine whether a crash is caused by something in application code or something going wrong in the underlying operating system. The development tools are a work in progress no doubt Apple is going to focus their efforts in providing us with the best way to identify issues in our applications. In any case we are all enjoying a new beginning. Some may think the iPhone is just yet another smart phone but most of us old timers know better. It is really the start of something great.
