It is clear that you cannot get through life as a developer without the help of friends both new and old. There have been many people who have provided support and worked with me to help me begin to understand the ways of Cocoa.
I would like to recognize a few people—some of which I will give their full names and others I will mention by first name only. This is the Internet after all!
First off the biggest thanks I have to give to my friend Austin Sarner the developer behind AppZapper and Disco. He has been so patient and helpful. He really knows what he is doing and is showing himself to be a leader in the Macintosh community. If you have not seen Disco yet I highly recommend you visit:
www.discoapp.com
If you don’t have the ultimate utility for cleanly removing applications from your Mac you should immediately go to:
www.appzapper.com
One who has supported the founding of BriteMac and encouraged me as I struggled along is my fiancé Julie Gerisch of True Perspective Films. Her film Though the Heavens Fall documents the lives of World War II B-17 crews during the last years in Germany. A truly must see.
You can visit her at www.trueperspectivefilms.com
I’d also like to thank Barry and Alia for their support and hard work with ideas and product review. Clearly without them VM2Go would not exist. I'd also like to thank Gary for his support and continued encouragement as he helped me understand programming principles that I had forgotten. Then there is Victor of Varcxx Design who developed the look for the BriteMac website and the logo for VM2Go. He doesn't have a web site up yet himself--but when he does I'll add a link. Finally I’d like to also thank those who have answered questions on the Cocoa mailing list as well as Apple’s engineers for their support when I had questions about DVD burning. I really feel there is a community surrounding the Macintosh.
